Election of Executive Officers

Call for nominations for TRACALA Executive Officers – March 2010

In line with the regulations set out in the Constitution, I hereby call for nominations for TRACALA election of officers for 2010/2011.

The Officer posts are:

• President

• Vice President

• Secretary

• Treasurer

• The Executive Council (4 Positions)

The interim Executive is, therefore, seeking nominations from members to fulfill these posts.

Eligibility:

All current ‘fully paid up’ of TRACALA are welcome to nominate individuals considered eligible to participate in the Election of Officers. Members can nominate themselves or other members.

Process:

March 13, 2010

Call for nominations for the Election of Officers to be communicated to members at the ALA2010 Membership meeting and via the website.

By March 31, 2010

Nominees are requested to complete the nomination form attached below and provide a brief profile and submit the completed form to the Secretary (see nomination form attached for details.

By April 15, 2010

The Returning Officers and Secretary of TRACALA will, in accordance with the Constitution, will undertake the Election of Officers. Voting will be on the basis of majority vote.

NOTE: Closing date for receipt of Nominations will be MARCH 31.
